Multilevel rig & fish eye rig by Mika

I have never seen a store bought panorama rig. The rigs shown here are both prototypes.

My camera is SD-10... It is called IXY-L in Japan. And I use x0.5 wide lens by Raynox. (HD-5000PRO)


私のカメラはIXY-Lですが、輸出されると名前がSD-10と変わってしまいます。ワイドレンズはレイノックスのHD-5000PROを使用しました。

The lens is held in place using its 37mm tread, the camera is hold by its existing tripod hole.

Material: Acrylics (be 5mm thick/about 0.2 inch) + Urethan form (be 4mm thick/about 0.16 inch) + Step-up ring (..to 37mm)


5mmのアクリルに4mmのウレタンを貼り37mmのステップアップリングを使用。そのブラケットはIXY-Lの既存の三脚穴を利用して本体に固定させます。

The Base is made of Acrylics using 5mm material for the sides, the bottom part connecting to the tripod is made from 10mm acrylic material.


ベース:三脚にセットする底面のみ10mmのアクリルを使用。他はすべて5mm。

The Bracket have two holes for locking the camera in up or down position, actually the exact position of the top hole is outside of the acrylic, I made a mistake, the panorama could not be completed with the original holes, so now the camera bracket rest on the top of the material for the down pictures.


カメラを上下に振ったときの固定穴が二重なのは、正確に上下45度に穴を開けたときにパノラマの上下がカバーできなかったのを修正するために穴を開け直したためです。

Original: OLYMPUS FCON-02 Kit

My first digital camera was the C-990 zoom - 2.1 megapix from Olympus, I am sure the same camera have different names around the world. For this camera Olympus offered a fisheye lens, I based my design on this lens.

The Rotator from the FCON-02 kit was used and placed on the tripod, a cube of acrylics were placed on top of this to remove the camera from the rotator, in order to minimize the size of the rotator in the picture.


FCON-02に付属のローテータを三脚にセットし、アクリルの台をさらに乗せて魚眼レンズの写真に写り込む三脚を最小限度にしている。

Right and left side of the camera, I used orange acrylic, because I like Orange. Notice the black foam insert against the camera, this prevent light from leaking into the lens. The reason for the transparent acrylics is that it is easer to judge delicate gaps in the material when gluing it together, this is very convenient during the manufacture of a prototype.


透明なアクリルはズレを判断するのに容易なために試作品の製作にはかなり便利です。
